Stroke Research Fellowship in Houston

Please share with any interested residents:

The University of Texas Medical School at Houston Stroke Program in collaboration with the Emergency Medicine program at UT-HEALTH has an opening for a 1 year fellowship in stroke research, starting July 2014.  This opportunity would involve joining a well-established team of investigators conducting research in acute stroke or brain hemorrhage, working on novel treatments for stroke and as well as participating in a mobile stroke unit project where patients will be treated with t-PA in the field.   One can also participate in translational research, testing new approaches in animal stroke models.  Interested applicants should contact Dr. Sean Savitz at sean.i.savitz@uth.tmc.edu
