Regions Hospital EMS is currently recruiting for our ACGME accredited EMS fellowship for 2014-2015. Successful graduates of our fellowship will be authorized to sit for the EMS Sub-specialty Board Certification Exam. Our training program encompasses the full range of prehospital medicine. EMS services include urban fire based, volunteer, police-paramedic, fixed and rotor wing air ambulance and third service. We also have an active Tactical EMS component. Our fellows have scene response capabilities via an ALS equipped physician response vehicle.

Fellows will gain disaster medicine experience as a team physician for the Minnesota Mobile Medical Team which provides clinical staffing to a state of the art, critical care equipped, $1.2 million dollar MN Mobile Medical Unit.

Our department also has an active event medical section which provides on site care at large events including the Tough Mudder and Warrior Dash extreme sporting competitions. We also provide on-site medical care at the MN State Fair where we had 5000 patient contacts.

Fellow salary is at the PGY-4 level with moonlighting opportunities available at local hospitals. Interested applicants should submit:
