It is with great pleasure that we announce the newest addition to the Georgetown/MWHC EM fellowship family:

The MedStar Emergency Medicine Health Policy Fellowship Program

The fellowship is an outstanding clinical and educational experience. It is as a one-year program that builds a collaborative partnership between The Department of Emergency Medicine, The McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University, and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

The fellow will obtain a Certificate in Health Policy from the McCourt School, work clinically in Washington, DC with MedStar Emergency Physicians, and complete three rotations (an organizational experience at the AAMC, a health care lobbying experience, and a legislative staff level position in the US House of Representatives).

We are actively recruiting our first fellow to begin in July 2015! Please connect me with any interested candidates (may9@georgetown.edu).

More information regarding the fellowship can be found on our program website:

Sincerely,

Michael Ybarra
