Subject: University of Washington EMS Fellowship Seeks Interested Applicants

Dear Colleagues,

The University of Washington has developed an EMS fellowship, in collaboration with Physio-Control, and we are currently recruiting applicants for July 2014. This training program will immerse the fellow in all aspects related of ground and air EMS medicine. The goals of the fellowship include developing future medical leaders of EMS programs who are inquisitive in discovery of new knowledge, effective educators of EMS professionals, and resourceful in implementing medical care.

We welcome applicants who aspire to create an outstanding EMS physician fellowship program that takes advantage of the world-class Medic One program in Seattle and King County, Washington as well as the geographical reach of AirLift Northwest.

A brochure and additional information about the program are posted on the CORD website at the previous links. Inquisitive individuals should also visit the program's website at www.em.washington.edu/education/ems.

Interested residents should send a cover letter and a CV to Michael Sayre, MD, the EMS Fellowship Program Director via e-mail to sayrem@uw.edu.

Sincerely,

Susan Stern, MD
