for those of your residents interested in emergency ultrasound and global health we have a new fellowship at Penn.



Starting in July 2015, the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Emergency Medicine will be offering a combined Fellowship in Emergency/Point-of-Care Ultrasound and Global Health Sciences. Fellowship curricula will be tailored to the applicant's personal goals and priorities. One- and two-year fellowships will be offered. All fellowships will include the opportunity for fieldwork with educational design and research in projects already underway in East Africa, and Central and South America, or in projects of the applicant's choosing, subject to the approval of the Fellowship program. The two-year fellowship will offer the opportunity for application to the University of Pennsylvania Masters Degree programs in Public Health, Health Care Policy, or Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, or in a certificate program in tropical diseases. Successful applicants will have demonstrated a track record as motivated, creative, can-do individuals, with a track record of accomplishment and success.
